Heading home towards Easter

we went to the Bruins game too.

Its starting to be that time again...when there are 25 hours worth of things to do in a day. Of course its busy but its also fun to have the kids having so much fun. Last Saturday was the annual walkathon. A good showing by the family produced some more money for our favorite cause. Chrissy made up some really warm sweaters for the walkers and they held up well with the weather. Jimmy made the walk this year. As soon as the walk started Jimmy realized he wasnt in first place (we were more in the back of the pack) and soon he and Lyn were off to the races. Uncle Patrick had started about five to ten minutes ahead of everyone else so he was razzing Jimmy about beating him in the walk. I ended up with Thresa most of the way with trips with each of the siblings along the way.
Laura has started playing on her baseball team. She's okay and has a pretty good arm. There is one other girl on the team which is a plus. I'm not sure the coach likes having a girl on the team though. I'm thinking he is living though the kids.....We'll keep a close eye on that one. She informed me today that she doesnt want to do Irish step after this year. Thats kind of dissapointing because she is so damn cute doing those irish dances. I"m working on that. She says she just wants to do hip hop. As long as she does something we're okay with it.
Catherine has a big week up ahead. Not only do we have Easter on Sunday she has her birthday week coming up with a dinner on her birthday at the American Girl Doll Cafe. I'm so excited. ummm..i meant she is so excited. She is so fun to watch when she's happy and content. I see that look on her face when she's inquisitively happy. Its really fun to be around. Laura was the same way.
