Bruins Playoff game with the Birthday girl

I received an email the day before the Bruins opening playoff game with great prices for tickets.  Such perfect timing as it was on Catherine's birthday.  We headed out a little early for the game and went to the Wellington station and took the trolley into Fanuel Hall to get some grub.  After eating and wealking around a bit we walked back over to the Garden for game 1.
We ran into cousin Danny who was there with his son Jake.  Love that family.  Cat had a great time at the game, as did I.

Easter

Easter Sunday saw us go to the old church in the Acre.  The mass was pretty well attended and Kara the kids met us there for our annual Easter mass.  Jacob was going through finals so he was given a pass for his absence.  We all went to Top Donut shop after mass as we do every year.

This years Easter Egg hunt was held over NeeNee's house.  I think the kids just appease us old people.  Its still fun to watch them take to the yard and grab some eggs and cash.  After all Laura is saving all her change because she wants to go to Barcelona.  Dont ask because I don't know why.  It much be from some TV show I'm sure.
I got a phone call to work Saturday night and ended up working until after 5 in the morning.  Thankfully, Laura helped the Easter Bunny with the eggs.  It was neat to see all the eggs covering the yard when i got home from work.
Off we went to Ant Jo's house for quite another masterpiece.  As usual Catherine got another birthday cake.  She's not too spoiled is she....

When we got home from Ant Jo's house there was this mother walking her son by our house.  You could see how impressed he was to see all the eggs on the front lawn.  He seemed so excited when I asked him if he could help us get all the eggs.  He was so cute and all kids seem to really like Jackie.  Jackie was so good with him and walked around with him.

ms walkathon 2019...I'm the ambassador

This is our 20th year doing the walkathon.  I got a phone call from the director and she asked me to be the Walk ambassador.  Of course i would.  I got to give a speech as well as my usual singing of thge copa copa cabana....

Sibling Track gods

Laura has joined Jimmy on the Spring track team.  This is her off saeson workout for the swim tearm.  Its so great to see Jimmy showing her how to prepare and stretch for the meet.  These pictures are from a recent meet.  Jimmy is doing really well again for this spring meet season.  He's very fast.  His best races are the 400 meter sprint.  Laura has also been doing the 400 meter sprint.
Its very good to see how well these two get along.

Indianapolis Swimming

And we loved that the girls got to come over from Ohio to meet us in Indy.  It was so nice to see them and Laura and Emily were thrilled to have the cheering section.  They are such cute kids and we were so happy to have them, even if it was only for a couple of hours.

We did go to the Central Canal and took a ride on the peddle boats.  Its a neat canal system that was originally planned for a trade route to connect to the Erie Canal (It didnt quite make it there) but today it does serve a purpose as being a nice touristy location as well as a nice walk for all.
Laura stayed in the hotel because she had homework to do...I swear, I dont know where this girl came from.
There was also this huge indoor mall that spanned over streets and was several floors high.

If you go to Indianapolis, you really are obliged to to the Indianapolis Speedway, the home to the Indianapolis 500.  There really wasnt much to see here, there was the Yolk restaurant but beside that...no much.

Okay, so i made it look like I was in the race car...It looks pretty authentic i must say....
