Boston Classic..another Meet....

And look who is on the podium for first place...one again!!!  Catherine recieved first place for the Bars and was sixth overall.  It was a fun day......Her team ended up Third overall...I think it is so fun to watch her compete because she absolutely loves it and has so much fun with her friends.

 

     After the meet we went to Panera for some celebration food.  The meet was in Norwood and we couldnt find anything nearby but she informed me that she was stahhhved.  She agreed to wait until we got home to get some Panera.  I really enjoy myself spending these days with just the two of us.  I love hanging aroud with her and just hanging out and having alot of laughs.  They all tell me I spoil her.....

Jackie over at Big Boys Birthday party

     Jackie had been looking forward to going to Big boys birthday party for some time now.  He has a good friend named Gavin who has a self named nickname of BIGBOY...We have laughed at that for some time now as Jackie talks about his friends and he includes this guy named BIGBOY.  I asked who gave him that nickname and he said that Gavin just asked him to refer to him as that and off we go.  It was a sleepover and BigBoys parents gave the kids a really good time.  They played all kinds of games and got prizes....which of course included The gramma hair wig with rollers included as well as things like basketballs etc.....The kids also got to take a trip to the bowling alley and scratch out a couple of games.  Big Boys mom and Dad really did a great job and the kids seemed to have a really great time.  I know Jack did.

Weekend in New England with Laura and Courtney

Up to the lake for the weekend with Laura and Courtney.....They went skiing on Saturday...It was a cold day for them and by the end of the day it got much colder and that meant slick times on the slopes....By the end of the day they were ready to thaw out and go back to the house.  We went out to eat at night and also in the morning for a great time....I fell asleep once we got home so that was a great night for me anyway.

I sat down in the recliner and went to look at the pictures on my phone from the day and accidentally took this ridiculous picture of me and my diamond studded reading glasses.  how sweet huh

This is one of the things I love most about the mountains....there are crazy scenic views everywhere you look

and dont think i'd let a freezing day go by without a nice fire...I love my wood stove
And sadly, we had to leave eventually

Boston gymnastics

Friday gymnastics meet in the city....She got to take the day off of school....Now thats a big deal.

Oh the Hover Boards...takes me where I wanna go

Catherine and Jack each got a hover board for Christmas.  Well, you know I couldnt stay away from riding on it...and you also know that what goes up, must come down.....I owe the blog a couple of pictures and maybe a video of me riding....it was ugly.  Catherine and Jack took right to it and now fly aroud the house on their boards.
