we are back...christmas season

Ohhh life without a camera was kind of rough...but we are back with a new desktop computer so hopefully this thing works out sooo much better....

Apple picking 2013 with the cousins

     As is often the case the kids switched sleeping addresses and the cousins came to pick up Jacob who had slept over our house Saturday night.  Kara and Jamie were out in their car and I had gone out to say hello when Kara told me that they were going to some farm near Worcester to go Apple picking and asked if I wanted to go.  Well, we had planned to go apple picking soon and with this being Jacks birthday week I said why not...and off we went. 

     This place was huge.  Kara told me that they go here every year to pick their apples and take a hay ride. 

     These kids have so much fun together.  Its getting to the point now where we don't even have to breath down their necks about doing things because they all just hang out together and watch out for each other.

     Laura still has her sling on.  That didn't stop her from tr;ying to swing on the rope swing with one arm.

     The kids are getting so big, but they still needed a boost to get all the good apples on the top of the trees.  Laura is at that stage now where she is still a kid, but god is she hard to lift to the top of an apple tree.

Jackie lost a tooth today while chomping on an apple....

                                           Jimmy and Catherine have always had a special bond....

Are you ready for some (flag) football

Two on the bus, two in middle school......

      7th, 5th, 3rd and 1st graders.....Oh the pain to see the little monsters out and into school again.  It just means that they are getting older and older.  Jimmy just needed to get new shoes because the size 11 1/2 shoes he had were too small.  Laura wears size 9, and by the way, those shorts are too short and they will be lost soon.  Anywayyyyy, they were all very excited about todays start date.  Catherine has been building up to it for the last three night with a sore throat, achy stomach, shin splints and a broken ankle.  Last night she just gave in and cried for a couple of hours because she knew that 3rd grade would be too hard.  She always toughens up and does just great though.  She looked forward to us playing catch at the bus stop and by the time bonnie picked the kids up she was raring to go.  have fun kids :)
